We commence the 2025 ‘Golf Tour’ season by returning to one of our favourite regions of the Algarve, Tavira. And for the first golf tour of the season, we are again taking the approach of having a competition week. For the 2025 edition the two team captains are Barney and Sam, with David attending as the social manager for the week! For each round, the tour group will be split into ‘Team Barney’ and ‘Team Sam’. Informal competitions will be played over each round with a prize giving session at the end of the week.
The itinerary features the best courses in the eastern Algarve, with Quinta da Ria and Cima, the fabulous new course at Quinta da Ombria, Benamor and the ever-popular Monte Rei, all to be played. We will stay at the Maria Nova Lounge Hotel again, which proved to be very popular for the 2024 tour, with its central location and access to restaurants.
We will explore different restaurants each evening and enjoy some excellent food and wine. As well the five excellent rounds of golf and the wonderful restaurants that we visit in the evenings, the ‘Algarve Golf Week’ is all about the camaraderie of the clients who book. It is the friendships renewed and newly made that make the week such a success year after year.
