Gloria, Turkey Golf, Coaching & Pilates

It is with great anticipation that we are returning to Turkey, and to stay at the Gloria Verde Resort, which is one of the founder resorts for golf in the Belek region of Turkey. And this particular week is quite unique in the sense that it will be hosted by Sam Head and Sam’s sister, Jo Mundy, both ex-Ladies European Tour players. In addition to the golf, Sam is providing a golf coaching programme for the week, whereas Jo is providing a Pilates programme for the week. Clients will have the choice of whether to join Sam on the range or Jo in the Pilates studio each day.

Sam is a former European Ladies Tour player, who spent 15 successful years on the tour, winning six prestigious titles. Since her time on the tour, Sam has become a leading qualified PGA Coach, and has now joined the ‘David Short Golf’ team and is rapidly gaining a DSG following!

Jo also spent 15 years on the tour from 1995 to 2010, winning the 1999 Malaysian Open and the 2002 and 2003 Hassan Trophy du Maroc. After retiring in 2010 to have a family, Jo re-trained as a Pilates Teacher to share her love of Pilates to the golf world. Having used Pilates in her golf from very early in her career, she realised the benefits to keeping mobile, improving core strength, flexibility and mindfulness, and now sharing this expertise with fellow golf enthusiasts.

We therefore have a traditional golf week format, but with the option of coaching with Sam and / or Pilates with Jo.

With regards to the golf, both Gloria courses will be played during the week. With the golf, the coaching, the Pilates, a super hotel, All-inclusive terms and pleasant warm spring sunshine, an excellent week should be in store.
